In 1870, the family lived in Jackson Township, where Washington was enumerated as a farmer. 223 In 1900, Sarah, widow, was living with her son Joseph and family in Jackson Township.

born 30 June 1826; died 12 November 1914 in Deerfield Township, Warren County; married ISABELLA JANE MORRISON, born 2 January 1827; died 8 March 1899. She was a daughter of Thomas Morrison (a first cousin marriage)—see #13. Both Robert and Isabella are buried in Sutton Hill Cemetery, Deerfield Township, Warren County. 226
In 1870, Robert and Jane (her name was Isabella Jane—see end note #226) were living in Deerfield Township, where Robert D. was listed as a laborer. By 1900, Isabella was deceased, but the family was still in Deerfield Township. Daughter Marilla (Mary A.) Morrison was keeping house at that time.227

They had a daughter Hazel Ellis who married T. Merle Foster. Merle and Hazel (Ellis) Foster had a daughter Patricia Foster who married Del Heinen. Patricia Heinen is author of the book, Watson (1992), and has contributed much to the genealogy of Venango County families.
